August 22 - Reception at Grafica for artist Tom Hunt, 6-9pm.
Tom Hunt teaches art and humanities at Nerinx Hall, and he has just returned
from a plein aire trip to Europe. See his original oils on board - Lucerne, Florence, London, Paris.
Tom's travel log of art can be seen through September 22.

August 29 - "From Art to Action" - Friday, August 29, 6-8pm
This is a unique fundraiser and planning session for the next phase of the campaign to help Senator Obama win Missouri. Hosted by brothers Gary and Lee Rhoades as well as the Grafica Fine Arts Gallery in Webster Groves, we can all hope to be inspired by both Obama's convention speech the night before and the art on the walls around us at Grafica that very evening. Please come to get up-to-date information about the national and state campaigns and help start planning for future events and projects. Hope Wine and Change Cheese will be served! Minimum $50 campaign contribution requested (please pay on-line or bring check made to "Obama for America").
